About me
Maria has been at Mercer University since 2000. She currently serves as the Associate Vice-President of Student Financial Planning. She has served GASFAA in many capacities including being 2017-2018 Secretary, 2020-2021 President and is currently the Virtual Training Chair on the Executive Board this year. Maria is FAAC certified and has presented at GASFAA, SASFAA, & VASFAA. In addition, she has served on the NASFAA Policy Rapid Response Network Task Force. Last year at the GASFAA conference Maria was the recipient of the the Past President’s Award for Distinguished Service. Maria received her PhD from Mercer University in 2023.
