About me
Andrew "Andy" Weaver has been involved with the financial aid profession in numerous capacities for over 40 years. He retired from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2014 where he served as Director for 19 years. During his tenure, he was active in state and regional professional associations, served as President of the Alabama Association, conducted NASFAA decentralized training for several years, and served on numerous committee chairs as well as two years on the faculty of SASFAA New Aid Officer Training. Prior to joining KHEAA as Business Development Representative, Andy spent four years providing consulting services and temporary staffing for financial aid offices at numerous institutions around the country. In his spare time, Andy enjoys riding his motorcycle, boating, and spending time with his two sons, wife, and pet goat Millie.
